50 Years of SERVICE AND SUSTAINABILITY
For half a century, Johnson’s Tree & Garden has been a trusted name in North Bay landscaping. What started in 1975 as a small tree service has grown into a full team dedicated to building and maintaining landscapes that are safe, functional, and built to last.
Our crew brings care, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility to every project. Our focus on sustainability and long-term landscape health has helped generations of clients create outdoor spaces that thrive—and that same care continues to guide the company today.
The Heart of Johnson’s Tree & Garden

PAUL JOHNSON
Paul founded Johnson’s Tree & Garden in 1975 with a simple goal—to care for people and the landscapes they love. As a licensed arborist for over 50 years, he built lasting relationships through honest advice, steady expertise, and hands-on service. His dedication laid the foundation for the family business that continues to thrive today.

enrique Granados
Enrique Granados can look at a bare patch of earth and already see what it's going to become — and after 20 years with us, we can say he's rarely wrong. As the leader of our landscape construction crews, he keeps teams motivated, timelines on track, and clients confident from start to finish. What really sets Enrique apart is the way he treats everyone around him — crew, clients, and colleagues alike. There's no one we trust more to get it done right.

the next generation
Family is at the heart of everything JTG does, and the next generation is already learning the ropes. The Johnsons continue to pass on their love for the outdoors, their commitment to care, and their pride in building safe, lasting landscapes for the North Bay community to their children.

A LEGACY OF CARE
What began as a small local tree service in 1975 has grown into a full-service landscape company serving Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties. Over the years, Johnson’s Tree & Garden has expanded to include landscape design, construction, irrigation, and ongoing maintenance—all guided by the same values that started it: family, care, sustainability, and safety.
With yards in Sonoma and San Rafael and roots in Corte Madera, the team remains deeply connected to the communities they serve. Fifty years later, the Johnson family’s hands-on approach and commitment to quality continue to define the work—and the relationships—they build every day.

areas we serve
Johnson’s Tree & Garden is based in Corte Madera with active yards in Sonoma and San Rafael, allowing the team to stay connected to the communities they serve across the North Bay.
For 50 years, JTG has cared for landscapes throughout Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties, building lasting relationships with homeowners, businesses, and community organizations. From coastal neighborhoods to wine country estates, each project reflects the same commitment to safety, sustainability, and care that has defined the Johnson family’s work for generations.
Every region brings its own needs—fire safety in the hills, water conservation in drier zones, and soil challenges unique to each microclimate. JTG’s local experience ensures every landscape is designed, built, and maintained with those conditions in mind.
